Charities
Kellie is an Ambassador for the charities Anthony Nolan and Mencap and youth group patron for Magpie Dance - celebrating outstanding dance talent for those with learning difficulties.
Kellie ran the London Marathon for Anthony Nolan back in 2008 and has run it twice since, most recently in 2019 for the 'Dementia Revolution celebrity team' in honour of her mentor and good friend Dame Barbara Windsor. The team of revolutionaries included her mate Emma Barton, collectively they raised over £150,000 - where the money will go directly to help find a cure for the disease.
In summer 2015 Kellie donated her twins cords to Anthony Nolan via Kings College Hospital. Cord blood is a vital resource to give people with blood cancer a second chance of life - four hospitals across the UK offer this life-saving service. Kellie fronts a campaign for mums-to-be to consider to do the same. It's pain-free and means your newborn baby becomes a lifesaver at birth. For more details please visit Anthony Nolan. Kellie has been twice nominated as celebrity supporter of the year for raising awareness about cord blood donation. She recently co-hosted the annual Anthony Nolan Daisy Ball alongside *The One Show'*s Joe Crowley - the event helped to raise over £400,000.
